The Holly Private Hospital and Aspen Healthcare Team to climb England’s Highest Peak for Charity
A team of nine staff from Aspen Healthcare and The Holly Private Hospital, London, are tackling England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike, to raise money for charity.
The team will ascend the 978 metre peak on Saturday 24th June in aid of Marie Curie and Haven House Children’s Hospice.
Speaking about the challenge event, Des Shiels, CEO of Aspen Healthcare said:
“We’re taking on this challenge in memory of our colleague and dear friend Chrissy Allan. Chrissy was the Clinic Director at The Edinburgh Private Clinic and tragically passed away earlier this year.
We’ll be raising money for help to fund more free care Marie Curie Nurses who can look after terminally ill people at home and money to support Haven House Children’s Hospice care for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening illness.
We don’t expect it to be easy but we do hope to do Chrissy proud!”
