The Holly Private Hospital achieves Silver Award for Investors in People
The Holly Private Hospital is proud to announce that it has achieved Silver status in the prestigious Investors in People (IIP) accreditation. The Investors in People Standard is the benchmark of good people management practice. Companies achieving Investors in People status are regarded as the very best in the world when it comes to leading, supporting and managing their talent for sustained success.
The four levels of IIP accreditation are Accredited, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Silver status puts the award-winning private hospital in the top 6% of IIP-accredited businesses in the UK.
Speaking about the IIP Silver accreditation, David Henderson, Hospital Director at The Holly Private Hospital said,
“Investors in People is the mark of high performance in business and people management. It’s about how we invest in, train, develop, lead and communicate with our people. Although we became an IIP accredited company in 2011 this was the first time we were benchmarked against the new framework and we are delighted to have achieved Silver status.
Our Silver Investors in People accreditation demonstrates our committment to being a great employer, a fantastic place to work and to working with staff to develop their skills.
Hundreds of our staff took part in the IIP accreditation process, completing surveys and sharing their feedback and experiences of what it’s like working at The Holly with our independent assessor. Thank you to everyone who participated for all your hard work and time, and a particular thank you to Laura Fowler, HR Business Partner, who led us through this journey.
Congratulations to the entire team. We’re extremely proud of this achievement and are committed to build on this, as we continue to support our people’s progression as they develop their skills and careers with us. Our ultimate goal is to achieve platinum IIP status in the next few years.”
