New Hospital Director confirms £20 million hospital investment on track

Phil Bates has moved to Holly House Hospital to take up his new role as Hospital Director, recently moving from a hospital management role in Surrey. Phil joins owner Aspen Healthcare to take over from Jackie Row who has become Aspen’s Group Clinical Director.

Having started in the last few weeks, Phil said: “I am delighted to be joining a great team, leading a major investment which will completely transform the High Road site in Buckhurst Hill.”  The £20 million plus plans include building a brand new Outpatient Department, three brand new theatres and a purpose-built Physiotherapy Department in addition to a state-of-the-art Pathology lab.

Phil said: “This is an exciting time for private healthcare and Holly House which will see our hospital double in size.  Importantly we are aiming to not only improve our service but also the choice for patients across North East London and Essex.”
