Service disruption caused by outage of Virgin Media internet services to Parkside and Cancer Centre London

 

We wish to inform our patients, visitors, staff and business partners that our sister hospitals Parkside Hospital and Cancer Centre London were recently affected by a major disruption to internet services caused by damage to Virgin Media cables by an unknown third party.

The Virgin Media service interruption which started on Thursday 19th December is believed to have impacted thousands of homes and businesses across Wimbledon and Kingston.

Virgin Media engineers have been working to fix the issue and normal internet services have now resumed at Parkside and Cancer Centre London.

This disruption to services impacted some communications between The Holly and our sister hospitals. As a result we may be slower than normal in responding to some email correspondence and enquiries but our team are working hard to get back to everyone as quickly as possible.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience experienced by our patients, family members and business partners.
