New Heel Pain Clinic at Holly House
Many people suffer from long-term heel pain, or ‘plantar fasciitis’, for more than six months before seeking advice and treatment. However, if diagnosed early, this common condition can be treated very quickly through revolutionary, new non-invasive techniques.
That's why at Holly House we’ve launched a new dedicated multi-disciplinary clinic to provide patients with a full diagnosis and treatment for all foot conditions from a team of experts including a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon, Consultant Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon, chartered Physiotherapist and Consultant Radiologist.
Following diagnosis our consultants can treat patients within the clinic using Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (eSWT). eSWT is a non-invasive treatment which works by applying energetic (not electrical) shockwaves to the painful area.
One-stop clinic to diagnose and treat.
Comprehensive range of clinically proven treatment options.
Shockwave therapy available.
Onward referral pathway to surgery if required.
Quick recovery and return to mobility.
The One-stop Heel Pain Clinic is just one of a number of new services being introduced at Holly House as a result of our multi-million pound redevelopment which has seen the hospital double in size. The new facility includes a purpose-built outpatients department with 23 consulting rooms, pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Sports Clinic, and pathology lab as well as three new integrated theatres.
