David Henderson, Hospital Director

‭David joined The Holly as ‭Hospital Director in June 2016  ‭having previously worked ‭as Executive Director of the ‭BMI The Clementine Churchill ‭Hospital. David has five years’ ‭experience as an Executive ‭Director (ED) with BMI. He ‭joined BMI as ED of the dual ‭site BMI Kings Oak & Cavell Hospitals where ‭he significantly developed and progressed this ‭hospital so that during his tenure they won the ‭London Region BMI Pride Award for Improvement ‭in Culture and Product. ‭Prior to BMI, David worked as a Hotel General ‭Manager winning a number of awards from Hotel ‭of the Year, Business of the Year, Customer Care ‭and Workforce Development awards.‭David is also a qualified Facilitator and Trainer and ‭is also Management Development Lead for the ‭Aspen Healthcare Group.

Dr Lorraine Kelly (PhD), Director of Nursing & Clinical Services

‭Lorraine joined The Holly in ‭July 2016.  She was previously ‭Director of Nursing and ‭Clinical Services with BMI ‭first at the dual site BMI Kings Oak & Cavell Hospitals where she implemented best practice across all nursing ‭and clinical service areas. ‭More recently Lorraine was Director of Nursing at ‭BMI The Clementine Churchill Hospital where she ‭successfully led an extensive quality improvement ‭programme at the hospital. Since her appointment, Lorraine has been focusing ‭on putting patient safety at the heart of The Holly ‭and developing our new Five Year Clinical Strategy. 

‭Luis Pedro, ‭Director of Services and Patient Experience

Since joining The Holly over four years ago, Luis has worked on a number of projects to improve customer service at The Holly. Significant achievements include introducing a Patient Relations Team with concierge service, developing the Telephony Centre and building a team of twenty call handlers to manage patient enquiries and book appointments. In 2015, The Holly won the Aspen Healthcare CEO Quality Award, for our innovative approach to improving the patient feedback results in the Hospital.

Luis has also brought on-board our award-winning chef and completly enhanced the guest menu. Other projects include working closely with the Housekeeping Team to improve standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the hospital with The Holly now considered one of the top Private Hospitals in terms of cleanliness as measured by market research company HWA. Luis has also started The Holly Charities Initiatives Group working to raise money for Haven House Children’s Hospice and other charities.He is also the Aspen Healthcare Group Hospitality and Services Lead. 

‭Donna Gibbs, ‭Development Director

‭Donna joined The Holly in ‭2016 and brings with her ‭a wealth of experience in ‭managing and growing hospital services, both in the NHS and ‭in the private sector. Donna spent nine years at ‭the Hospital of St John and ‭St Elizabeth in North West London undertaking a ‭variety of roles including marketing, management ‭of clinical and patient services and most recently ‭Head of Business Development. Donna has a sound ‭understanding of private healthcare, consultants’ ‭practice development and the London market. ‭She works closely with our consultants to develop their practice at The Holly. Donna also oversees the marketing and communications, GP Liaison and self-pay functions at the hospital.

James Clark, Chief Financial Officer

Originally from South Africa, Chartered Accountant James joined The Holly at the end of 2014. As Chief Financial Officer, his responsibilities include managing the Finance Team, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, contributing to strategic decision-making and helping to manage and implement change and improvements across the hospital. James previously worked for HCA, Warner Bros, UCS and Deloitte.
