David Henderson, Hospital Director
David joined The Holly as Hospital Director in June 2016 having previously worked as Executive Director of the BMI The Clementine Churchill Hospital. David has five years’ experience as an Executive Director (ED) with BMI. He joined BMI as ED of the dual site BMI Kings Oak & Cavell Hospitals where he significantly developed and progressed this hospital so that during his tenure they won the London Region BMI Pride Award for Improvement in Culture and Product. Prior to BMI, David worked as a Hotel General Manager winning a number of awards from Hotel of the Year, Business of the Year, Customer Care and Workforce Development awards.David is also a qualified Facilitator and Trainer and is also Management Development Lead for the Aspen Healthcare Group.
Dr Lorraine Kelly (PhD), Director of Nursing & Clinical Services
Lorraine joined The Holly in July 2016. She was previously Director of Nursing and Clinical Services with BMI first at the dual site BMI Kings Oak & Cavell Hospitals where she implemented best practice across all nursing and clinical service areas. More recently Lorraine was Director of Nursing at BMI The Clementine Churchill Hospital where she successfully led an extensive quality improvement programme at the hospital. Since her appointment, Lorraine has been focusing on putting patient safety at the heart of The Holly and developing our new Five Year Clinical Strategy.
Donna Gibbs, Development Director
Donna joined The Holly in 2016 and brings with her a wealth of experience in managing and growing hospital services, both in the NHS and in the private sector. Donna spent nine years at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth in North West London undertaking a variety of roles including marketing, management of clinical and patient services and most recently Head of Business Development. Donna has a sound understanding of private healthcare, consultants’ practice development and the London market. She works closely with our consultants to develop their practice at The Holly. Donna also oversees the marketing and communications, GP Liaison and self-pay functions at the hospital.
James Clark, Chief Financial Officer
Originally from South Africa, Chartered Accountant James joined The Holly at the end of 2014. As Chief Financial Officer, his responsibilities include managing the Finance Team, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, contributing to strategic decision-making and helping to manage and implement change and improvements across the hospital. James previously worked for HCA, Warner Bros, UCS and Deloitte.
Boris Wagner, Director of Operations
Boris has over 15 years’ experience of operations management in private healthcare, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and the hospitality industries, both in the UK and South Africa.
Boris previously worked at the BMI Clementine Churchill Hospital as Director of Operations, providing leadership and strategic direction for the non-clinical service delivery of the hospital. At BMI Boris was a member of the Senior Management Team and led out on a number of strategic projects to improve CQC feedback, patient satisfaction, catering and governance. He also oversaw several multi-million pound capital enhancement projects to the hospital, including a new Spec CT facility and the redesign and build of ITU and Phlebotomy facilities.
Prior to BMI Boris worked for De Vere Venues and Southern Sun Hotels where he successfully held a variety of positions including Operations Manager, Rooms Division Manager and Deputy General Manager.
Boris is responsible for leading non-clinical operations at The Holly Private Hospital.
Vanessa Jaimes, Director of Quality & Governance
Vanessa is responsible for managing quality and governance at the hospital.
She ensures a patient focused clinical governance agenda is defined and reported via regular reporting through the established quality and governance reporting structure.
She also ensures that a robust and co-ordinated governance programme is in place throughout the hospital by providing clear support, technical advice and guidance on all aspects of the governance agenda.
Vanessa also provides expert advice and support to the Senior Managers on areas such as risk and incident management, regulatory compliance,, clinical negligence and health and safety.
Vanessa is a registered nurse with 25 years experience managing Theatres in private and NHS hospitals.
