Training and Background
I was appointed my higher Surgical training in Trauma & Orthopaedics in London. This included extensive training in trauma of the Upper Limb at the Royal London Hospital, Shoulder Surgery and peripheral nerve surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
I have dual fellowship experience, notably for a year at the internationally renowned Brisbane Hand & Upper Limb Group to develop my interest in all aspects of Emergency and Elective Hand & Upper Limb Surgery. During my second fellowship at the Liverpool Shoulder & Elbow Unit I have also focused on Arthroscopic Shoulder Surgery working and training directly with the Vice President of the British Elbow & Shoulder Surgery Society.
I offer a comprehensive service for all aspects of Upper Limb Surgery.
Common Hand & Wrist conditions I treat include Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Trigger Finger, Dupuytren’s Disease, Arthritis of the Hand & Wrist as well as surgery for more complex Hand and Wrist conditions and injuries, such as joint replacement and ligament reconstruction.
Common Shoulder & Elbow conditions I treat include Rotator cuff tears, shoulder dislocation and instability, Arthritis of the Shoulder, Shoulder Impingement and disorders of the clavicle and biceps tendon.
