Mr Mrinal Saharay is a Consultant General Surgeon with a specialist interest in Endocrine and Colorectal Surgery.

Mr Saharay trained in London teaching hospitals and was awarded a PhD in surgery by the London University. He has presented his work in internatinal meetings and published various papers in international journals.

In his endocrine practice, he specialises in thyroid surgery, including cancers and also minimally invasive parathyroid surgery. In this colorectal practice he pereforms all major colonic operations for both cancers and benign conditions. He has a particular interest in the treatment of haemorrhoids and performs the latest operation for this condition called the procedure for prolapse and haemorrhoids (PPH). In addition he performs gastroscopy and colonoscopy, along with other general operations such as hernia repairs and laparoscopic gall bladder surgery.
