Mr Subak-Sharpe undertook his undergraduate medical training at Cambridge University and St George’s Hospital Medical School, graduating in 1995.
His specialist training in ophthalmology was carried out in many of the teaching hospitals in London, including Moorfields Eye Hospital where he was the Senior Resident. After completing his specialist training in ophthalmology, Mr Subak-Sharpe undertook a clinical fellowship in oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital and a further clinical fellowship in aesthetic and reconstructive oculoplastics at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital within the multi-disciplinary Craniofacial Unit.
Mr Subak-Sharpe takes pride in having been asked by so many of the local GP’s and Optometrists to provide care for themselves and their families. He is on the specialist register for ophthalmology and works within the NHS for Bartshealth NHS Trust at Whipps Cross Hospital.
Special interests
General adult ophthalmology and cataract, including multifocal and toric lens implants. Oculoplastics – Aesthetic eyelid lifts, upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty and brow lift, eyelid malpositions, tumours and cysts. Lacrimal – blepharitis, dry eyes, watery eyes and blocked tearducts.
