All urology – men, women and children. Prostate assessment and cancer (Brachytherapy). BPH surgery. Prostatitis. Impotence/erectile dysfunction. Haematuria, Bladder cancer. Vasectomy and microsurgical vasectomy reversal. Varicocele embolisation and Varicocelectomy. Kidney stones. Paediatric – circumcision, fixation of testes, hydrocele, etc. Female urology – bladder problems, cystitis, incontinence management, etc.
Training & background:
Mr Potluri qualified with a MB BS in 1977. He then obtained masters in general surgery in 1981 and was elected Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1989. Mr Potluri gained a diploma in urology from the Institute of Urology and University College, London, in 1991.
Mr Potluri has worked as a surgeon with the Ministry of Health for several years in Jamaica. He obtained urological skills in India, Jamaica and further urology training in Scotland, as well as the Institute of Urology at Middlesex Hospital.
Mr Potluri was appointed to his present post with Princess Alexandra Hospital in 1997.
