About

Miss Garcia Vilaro qualified from University of Barcelona (2010). She went on to complete 4 years subspecialty training, which include a fellowship in Oculoplastics at IMO clinic, Barcelona (2011) specializing in techniques of plastic surgery as it relates to the eye and their surrounding structures. This was followed by extensive training in the UK with an Oculoplastics, Orbital and Lacrimal fellowship at the prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital (2012 and 2014) and a fellowship at the multidisciplinary craniofacial unit at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital (2014) were she gained expertise to manage complex skin cancer reconstruction, thyroid eye disease and periocular trauma. She was part of the Adnexal unit in Moorfields Eye Hospital 2014-2016.

Her NHS practice is based at BHR Hospitals NHS Trust (Queens hospital) where she heads the division of oculoplastic surgery offering a comprehensive eyelid and lacrimal service for children and adults. She is a keen educator and run regular surgical cadaver dissection courses, wet labs and simulation.
