Research interests
I develop and offer evidence-based solutions for prevention, early identification, and treatment of common serious mental health problems. I also develop advanced neurofeedback based treatments for ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and addictions.

In over 50s I study Alzheimer’s disease, cerebrovascular disease, and mild cognitive impairment. I believe that lifestyle medicine and interventions have an increasingly important role to play in health care and I have developed activity programmes that combine physical activity, social stimulation, computer training and healthy eating aimed at preventing dementia.

Fees, Training & Background:

I am a consultant psychiatrist with more than 20 years’ of clinical experience. I qualified in London and received my Ph.D. from University College London where I was appointed Honorary Senior Lecturer in psychiatry. I use the neuroscience skills and experience that I have gained to help my patients with cutting-edge, research-based treatments to prevent, cure and treat mental health problems. The treatment and health promotion programmes that I have developed have already helped more than 20 000 people.

I realised that most people’s emotional health problems are caused or aggravated by strained family or professional relationships, and stress at home or work. Once I have helped you to get better, I can also help you to identify and make the changes to your thinking, habits, and environment to help reduce the risk of future setbacks. Whilst many people simply try to get on with their lives, hoping for the best, I believe more is possible and work closely with a talented team of professionals to maximise your health and wellbeing in a genuine, and personal way. My aim is to help you make a quick and lasting recovery so you can enjoy the health and wellbeing you deserve.

Dementia and memory problems affect a growing number of people. I offer a unique comprehensive dementia risk assessment and reduction plan aimed at preventing dementia for over 50s. More than 600 people have already successfully used this programme to adopt a lifestyle to reduce the risk of dementia.

If you think it is about treating mental health problems. Then you have missed the point. My goal is to help my clients achieve their best mental and physical health so they can find and fulfil their purpose and thereby gain lasting happiness.
