About

I qualified from Bart’s & the London School of medicine in 1998 and spent the first 5 years working in major teaching hospitals in London including the Royal Free Hospital and the Royal London Hospital. During this time, I specialised in general medicine and rheumatology and gained my MRCP post-graduate qualification. I later changed to specialise in family medicine and have more than 12 years experience working as an NHS GP, including working as a GP partner and trainer. My experience in general medicine and my additional roles in GP education contribute to my expertise in managing patients with complex health problems and to keeping at the forefront of medicine.

I am passionate about providing comprehensive, holistic and high quality care to my patients. I have a special interest in dealing with complex and chronic medical conditions including heart disease, diabetes, respiratory, gastrointestinal complaints and musculoskeletal disorders. I have experience in women’s health and contraception, children’s health and concentration problems and health promotion and lifestyle advice for all age groups.

I currently work in both the NHS and private sector as a GP. I value the longer appointment times in the private sector which allows me to develop a more personalised and comprehensive approach to care. I believe in promoting good health and well-being in order to optimize this in the patients that I care for.
