Dr Mohammed finished his training in respiratory and general medicine in Edinburgh 2009. During his training years, he had the opportunity to work with the world experts in respiratory medicine.
Dr Mohammed took his first consultant post at Stirling Royal Infirmary in 2009 before he moved to London in 2010. Dr Mohammed is currently working as a consultant respiratory and general physician at Whipps Cross and St Bartholomew’s hospitals. Dr Mohammed is the lead clinician for lung cancer, pleural disease and ultrasound, bronchoscopy and EBUS services. He runs dedicated lung cancer clinics, ultrasound guided pleural clinics and general respiratory clinics. Dr Mohammed is very experienced EBUS and pleural USS operator and trainer, he has help to set up both services within Bart’s Health NHS Trust in 2012.
Dr Mohammed has very active clinical and educational roles within London Deanery at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Dr Mohammed is an examiner at the Royal Colleges of Physicians for PACES MRCP part 2 examination since 2012.

Dr Mohammed is a well-respected medico-legal witness expert within the field of respiratory and general medicine. Dr Mohammed has a wide experience of providing independent medical reports for the Courts, and of advising in medical negligence matters. He has extensive experience of writing reports on liability and causation, in both respiratory and acute general medicine.
