Training and Background
Dr Ajith James trained in Nephrology in Barts and Royal London Hospitals and in General Medicine in Whipps Cross and Southend University Hospitals. Dr James was appointed as a consultant Nephrologist and Physician, jointly by Barts Health NHS Trust and Barking, Havering & Redbridge NHS trust in 2009.
He currently manages a renal dialysis unit in King George Hospital and is the Specialist Medicine Divisional Governance Lead for King George and Queens Hospitals. Dr James has wide-spread experience in nephrology, hypertension, general medicine and critical care.
