Miss Tasha Gandamihardja

Miss Gandamihardja is an oncoplastic breast surgeon, which means she is a breast surgeon who incorporates plastic surgical techniques when performing any type of breast surgery. This ensures best aesthetic outcome.

She completed her medical degree at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine and undertook her surgical training in London where she worked in various teaching hospitals including the Royal London Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital.

During her training, she was awarded a highly competitive Oncoplastic Fellowship in Glasgow, which fine-tuned her oncoplastic and reconstructive surgical skills. She also spent time as a visiting surgeon at the highly regarded Paris Breast Institute, where she gained further experience in the latest treatments of breast cancer.

She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and is listed on the GMC register.

Miss Gandamihardja’s research lead to an award of a PhD from University College London (UCL) for her work on the molecular biology of cancer. Part of this work was undertaken in Los Angeles where she spent over a year working as a research fellow in the Department of Surgery at the University of Southern California (USC).

A passionate teacher of junior doctors, she also completed a Masters in Surgical Education (MEd) from Imperial College London.
