About
Ralph qualified in medicine from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School. His postgraduate training was in the London teaching hospitals. He obtained his Doctorate from Bart’s medical school. He is the author of several scientific publications and has written chapters for gastroenterology text books.
He was appointed as Consultant Gastroenterologist at Whipps Cross University Hospital (part of Bart’s Healthcare) in 2000. Ralph is a general gastroenterologist/ hepatologist, so has experience of the majority of gut and liver conditions. He has a particular expertise in colonoscopy, and is an accredited colonoscopist for the National Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.
Ralph is the lead for endoscopy and the lead for hepato-pancreato-biliary medicine at Whipps Cross University Hospital.
He was nominated for “Doctor of the Year” by the Redbridge Cultural Association in 2007.
